In this use case, we'll create a death counter using our counters system.
Step 1. Prepare counter view
Create background layer, add skull illustration, "Deaths Count" text source and source with number of deaths.
Also create "+1 death" text with skill illustration which will be hidden behind the block and will be shown at the time of another death.
Step 2. "Death" chain
Go to Chains section and click on the Plus Button.
Create Change Counter command with +1 change value.
Chain is created just to increment counter. It won't have any other commands.
Step 3. "Deaths" event
Go to Events section and create Counter Has Changed event.
This event has variables with counter name, value and diff.
Switch to the Conditions tab and add "Counter Names" condition with our Deaths counter name.
Next, we need to update deaths count in text source and animate "+1 Death".
Switch back to the Commands tab and create a Set Text command with our Counter Value variable (
Animate skull icon and "+1 death" text sources using "Move Source" command.
And move it back.
Add a little delay between animations.
